Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard insists he has no qualms with comments made by Manchester City striker Erling Haaland. After the sides drew 2-2 at the Etihad Stadium in their opening game.
Back in September, the two teams took turns leading and trailing before the game ended in a draw. With City getting the satisfaction of equalising in the 90+8 minute. With Haaland throwing the ball into Gabriel Magalhaes’ head and telling Mikel Arteta to “Be humble, be humble” at the end of the game. ทางเข้า UFABET
Gabriel Jesus then asked.
“What did you say?” to which Haaland snapped. “What did you say? Get lost, you idiot!” and pushed the Brazilian forward before Jack Grealish came to separate the two. This became a big issue for a while and their reunion was highly anticipated.
Odegaard, who did not play at the time due to injury, said it was normal for such an important game.
“We are good friends,” Odegaard said of his Norway team-mate. “Both with him and with two or three other mates from the national team. We have a little chat group so we talk to each other from time to time. Not football-related, just general stuff. We don’t talk about football at all. But he is a good friend so we talk to him.”

Asked if he was shocked by Haaland’s reaction. Odegaard said: “No, in games like this, emotions and adrenaline are high. That’s what happens and when you walk off the pitch it’s over. After two seasons, we fought for the title so it’s normal.”
“I think City and us are both improving each other. The league is very competitive but with Man City we’ve been fighting for the title with them for the last two. Or three years and that makes you better. It brings out the best in you.”
“When I was a kid I used to watch the Premier League with my friends. There were some big games like the North London derby. The Manchester derby and the Liverpool derby. So it’s great to be part of it now with the big stakes.”
